Great app I was spending $20 a month for streaming music. I mainly listen to music I already had. Once I started using preamp I was able to do pretty much the same thing for free. $240a year saving. Yes please.

Seems like a hot mess, but maybe it will grow on me. All I want to do is listen to my music by folder. I can watch my movies and find all my video media by folder with no trouble on Plex. Come on guys make this a little more intuitive there's way too much stuff in the interface here that doesn't seem very intuitive to me. What am I missing? Literally all I want to do is put on an album of my own choice and listen. Maybe I require some remedial training or something?

Continually Frustrated While Casting I frequently lose the ability to control the streaming. When the app is in the background while I use other apps on my Pixel, I come back to it and the screen reports that the first song I started playing is still playing hours later. But it has been proceeding through my playlist. Plex amp has apparently dropped the stream - Google Home app it shows that the Plex app is streaming instead. Can't control with Plex either. Have to kill stream and start over.

Pretty terrible features for a music app. For example - it lists any track in a compilation album as "various artist" so you can't filter or search by artist. You also can't filter on tracks by decade or year, only on albums. Again, useless for compilation albums. This makes the app fairly useless and not worth bothering with as you can't organize by artist only entire albums. Even Windows media player could do this 15 years ago! Also found it now regularly corrupts playlists.
