I am running Preserver on pi connected to my NAS along with Plex amp (this App) on both my phone and a tablet. Wow - impressive stuff. My music is now available to stream so easily and the information about it is so detailed that I feel that I have opened a new door of discovery. The DJ options, the radio options and the links between artist, genre etc.etc.are fantastic Spotify watches out - my own library is all I need. Excellent product and I have yet to fully explore it.

This goddamn app has NO data retention. What's the point of caching 10+ GB of music if you need pitch-perfect internet connection to play recent tracks, even a song that JUST played 2 minutes ago. Oh no, every time it needs to call home to make sure everything's in order... god forbid the connection's a little spotty, or we use a VPN. The way offline music is handled is a joke too. Plex amp really is my most-used app which I utterly hate every time I open it.

As of recently it is skipping (seemingly) 50% of songs that used to play no problem. These songs work on the web player and on my laptop plex app but won't play through preamp on my mobile.

Create a "no deep cuts" station. Allow me to select multiple genres and multiple decades. Add a feature that plays top hits from an artist because maybe I don't want the deep cuts. Add a feature that allows me to specify how many deep cuts to play per hour if I do occasionally like deep cuts. Allow me to add in every song I have rated as 4 or 5 stars. Combine all of these to build a playlist.
