The battery usage issue got fixed, so this is possibly the best choice for streaming your own music, though you will want to do that from your own server. It wasn't seamless to do, but it works well configured as it is (gotta put your app database on the external drive if using a Raspberry Pi, so do that as soon as you've installed the server). I'd love to see all track lists (including in queues and playlists) show the play time of the song.

This app is incredibly glitchy. It does not play easily with my Google Home hub or Google Home speakers. It will constantly not be able to connect or switch speakers. Force stop does not work to actually reset the app. I constantly have issues playing my music. And I don't want to have to either reinstall the app or restart my phone every time it decides it doesn't want to work.

Like all things plex this app slowly but surely worse with each passing week. It appears they are in fierce competition with their main competitor to see who ruin they're the app the fastest and go out of business. Both have removed or overly complicated every standard useful feature. Even if the app were free I would not recommend. Making major changes constantly is pointless and shows how much plex loathed their customers.

4 years and still waiting to delete a song from preamp from the server. I now need to add them to a playlist to remove them from a browser as workaround
