The rename of SD card files can be done.
Time Stamp can be gotten from file system or EXIF file. (When EXIF time stamp is selected, but If EXIF timestamp is not available, file system time stamp is used.)
[Caution] Don' forget make backup all PHOTO and MOVIE files on 1st use.
[About Foreground Services] This app uses "Content Observer" to detect when other apps save photo/video files. To ensure "Content Observer" continues to function even after the user removes this app from the task list, some functions of this app are kept running as foreground tasks.
[Known problems] - The filename of "Image","Video" and "Recent" in "Files" app is not changed if data is stored in internal storage in Android 8.

Could you add please in section "Filename body" new option e.g. "Find & Replace"... after choosing two fields appears to enter find string and to enter replacement string (empty string could be valid)?

Does it take date time from EXIF? Update: Uninstalling. In this case date time is highly unreliable feature that can destroy gallery chronology. Otherwise, nice app, folks! Thank you!

Any way to exclude the _001 at the back as well? Maybe only show if second file has same time. Edit1: yes, thank you but I want to put space and. It chaned title to date and time, which is what ibwant. But it adds _001 to the end. Ther ei sno need as the time is to the second and there should not be duplicated names. I try to set it to change file name to date only without time, but did not succeed
