Not overly impressed with this app which is intended for set-up and monitoring of the Polar ESS solar energy bundle. The app costs £24 pa, but the first year Is free. Like the general level of product support from Polar it's hard to obtain informative documentation; and what there is of it is woefully short on detail particularly with regard to configuration examples or guidance. The menu button for setting up the inverter variables goes AWOL or is greyed out for no obvious reason.

It seems to always have an issue, I have had back and forth with support constantly, I'm convinced the inverter is faulty, but they blame their developer, so I'm therefore not recommending the system or the apps. Find alternatives - they will soon charge of £150 for the dongle on top of the annual subscription, and frankly you don't get much for that. If my inverter worked I'd likely not bother with the future subscription, but sadly I was sold a faulty unit that can't display what it's doing.

Visually looks good and should be simple to use. However, system starts randomly exporting to the grid all power produced though each day. Only thing to fix is reset to defaults each time which is wasteful, annoying and time-consuming to work that out. System now stuck doing update.
