App for 2026 Polestar 4 is excellent works 100% of the time. Works much more often than proximity key FOB, that works maybe 50% of the time🤣

You don't need your keys and can start your AC remotely on those hot days and lock your car or open your trunk. It's great. Also I love the polestar propaganda page to keep informed on their latest stuff they have.

The app I'm works fine. I wish the PAK would work better on my Pixel 7 though. Edit: same problem with the PAK with a pixel 9 pro. Edit again: works now fine on a Pixel 10 Pro.

Update 2026-03: Still so many problems with the UWB digital key with Google Pixel 9 pro android phone Can't set up digital key (polestar 3 + pixel 9 Pro) still can do digital key: Motorola Razr 60 ultra (yes it has UWB!) + polestar 3

Have never got the digital key to actually work, and the app lacks much useful functionality. It can schedule charging and unlock the doors, but even that's a bit temperamental App is getting worse. Tried an uninstallation and reinstall, and it's not saved my car. Spent an hour trying to get the car to detect the 3 keys.... I really hate the Polestar software. It's probably the worst on the market right now. Cars nice but software is so bad it's such a shame

If I could give it a negative star I would. For the price point of the cars that app is horrendous. I am an early p2 owner and 3+ years in they haven't been able to fix the digital key. Every second update it will break, you will need to do black magic for it to work again, including removing the app, recreating the digital key, resetting your car's module and everything else you find online. And if you manage by accident to create a key, it will sporadically work on android.

2024 P2 LR dual motor with plus & pilot packs. The digital key function is unreliable and can't be trusted. The app says my car's 12v battery is low, but the car status screen says everything's fine. I brought the car in to the service center, and they said the 12v battery is fine, so I know it's a problem with the app. Super annoying because it shows the false warning every time I run the app. Remote lock/climate functions work fine.
