Despite the lack of an update in 3 years this app is brilliant. Within 20 minutes of the failure that prompted me to find and download the app there was a very accurate update of the situation on the app pinpointing exactly where the fault was, as it turned out 5 doors down the street from me, with the time it would be repaired. Everyone should have this very useful app.

There was a power cut in my area, I clicked on PowerCheck List in the app and chose my area, it showed me what time the power went out, along with estimated restoration time and how many people were affected. I noticed they were also updating these details as the time passed. Pretty good app to save time instead of waiting a couple of minutes for the phone operator to give you the same info

Works really well, I've had it on my phone for 2 years now and found the map and the estimated time for repair accurate. Much more useful than asking a neighbour if their power is off as well or trying to get through on a busy phone line. Well done ESB

When I open I'm told that the app was developed for an older version of android, there is no update available. As a result I find the app useless.

The Freshford Johnstown outage mentioned on Twitter didnt appear on the map at all.. amazing considering the power seems to go here every week, you should have it down as a permanent fault.

Kept complaining it couldn't communicate with the server then crashing.
Didn't manage to get any information. Hope the power comes back on soon. In
the meantime I'll occupy myself uninstalling this app. Update: Still
useless 5 years later. Can't identify my location (even though it has the
necessary permissions). Map tells me the problem in my area has now gone,
but the power is still off. What utter rubbish.
