The charger worked flawlessly. We were at the beach during the low power time window of 4-9, however. So we only got 1.7 KW charge rate but that still would have been enough to make a difference if we had stayed at the beach for a while.

Update: The app doesn't crash as much anymore, but it will still crash. The app will crash my Pixel 8 phone. Starting on the camera made it worse. When I start the app, sometimes it will immediately close. Eventually, it'll hang, and the phone will reboot, and then, after starting the app a few times, I can use the app.

I downloaded this app to use for charging and the charger got locked. Into my car and I had to be on the phone with customer service for over 20 min to get them to unlock, so I could take the charger out of my car! When downloaded this app there was no button to click to stop charging. I am wondering if my android phone is incompatible with the Power flex app. UGH! 😡

When the app works, it's fine, but there's like a 50% chance that opening it will freeze and then reboot my phone. I have a Pixel 8 Pro. Yesterday, I tried to start a charge, but the app froze and rebooted my phone twice before I was successful. Today it happened once. This has been going on for months. I'm using the latest version. The problem seems to be how the app scans QR codes, so I've removed camera permissions until it is fixed. The developer says that it's already fixed, but it's NOT.

The app sucks. There's no telling if chargers work once you get there. Only use ot as q last resprt
