At Powerhouse Pilates in Common, we don’t believe in random workouts. We follow a structured Multi-Level Progression System designed to help you move safely, build strength, and progress with confidence.

Our Levels Are Earned — Not Requested:

• Level 1 – Foundations
Learn breathing, alignment, and core connection. Ideal for beginners or those returning after a break.

• Level 2 – Next Level Beginner
Build confidence with slightly more complex transitions while reinforcing safe, controlled movement.

• Level 3 – Pre-Intermediate
For members ready for more intensity, including unilateral work and balance challenges.

• Level 4 – Intermediate
Longer sequences, deeper strength, and greater control under load. Precision and consistency are expected.

• Level 5 – Pre-Mastery
Advanced progressions focused on timing, control, and stamina.

• Level 6 – Mastery
Invitation-only classes for members who demonstrate high-level strength, awareness, and control.

Guided Progression Matters:
Our instructors actively guide members through the levels to ensure safety, proper form, and long-term progress. You’ll be placed in the right level based on your current ability, and advancement happens when your instructor sees consistent control, understanding, and readiness — not just effort. This approach protects your body, builds real strength, and ensures every class is the right challenge for you.

Our classes are designed for all stages of your Pilates journey and include Reformer Foundations, Beginner and Intermediate Reformer, Stretch & Recovery, Barre, Tower/Reformer combinations, and transition workshops.

Founded by Amanda Ord, a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor, Powerhouse Pilates in Common is built on precision, education, and consistency. Every class is guided with intention so members understand not just how to move — but why.

We work with a wide range of members, including:
