Mostly it's great. Occasional problems but they're few and far between. I think it's better that the prisoner can hear your voice - rather than a typed message that can be misinterpreted - and it's instant. The calls are MUCH cheaper this way. I'd definitely recommend it as a way of keeping in touch with your loved ones.

Exceptional!!! I was completely at a loss when my family member was sent to prison, he wasn't able to call me for 4 days! In the meantime a lot of Googling found me PVM, what a godsend, I can leave a message and when it is read my phone rings, and I can then speak directly to my loved one, and it saves us both money. The customer service is 2nd to none, if you e-mail they answered within the hour, and you even get a follow-up call to check all is OK. Shame I can only give 5 stars. Highly recommend

Definitely has flaws that need sorting out! I get calls that disappear from my screen, and then I can't get the call back. I can hear the person talking, but they can't hear me. Why does the call disappear from my screen after I've answered? It's always cutting off even though I have full bars on my internet. I'm getting really upset using this service now.

I have nothing but trouble with this app. I have to reinstall ever couple of days, as the app stops working even though I have all the settings set to don't sleep. I wish they could do something with it, as it causes distress that you miss the calls.

SIMILAR SERVICES ARE $6.50 A WEEK WITH UNLIMITED MINUTES! Don't do it! ... It gets worse... they took 6 PAID weeks with the app doing nothing, multiple complaints, phone calls, emails .... a prolonged, constant effort to get them to register my account, while paying money for the privilege. No restitution, reimbursement... nothing... if they'd have done the bare minimum and offered me some credit unprovable wouldn't have realized how exorbitant this app is compared to functioning apps. Don't!
