YOUR OWN WORDS FIRST

Promisa is built around yours. Write your promise in your own language — "Ship my first app this year. No excuses." — and that's what you'll see. A library of quotes, affirmations and proverbs is there when your own words aren't coming, and anything you take from it is yours to edit.


A WIDGET THAT LOOKS CHOSEN, NOT BOLTED ON

Five complete widget styles — Minimal, Warm Paper, Quiet Dark, Soft, Editorial Bold — each a full composition of typeface, weight, spacing and panel treatment, not a colour swap. Adjust text size, light or dark, and how much of your wallpaper shows through. It's designed to sit next to your app icons and belong there.


ONE PROMISE AT A TIME

Keep as many promises as you like and let them rotate — once a day by default, or every 3, 6 or 12 hours, in order or shuffled. Some weeks you want only one thing in front of you: pin it, and the rotation holds until you unpin. Your other promises come back exactly as they were.

Add an optional target date and the widget carries a quiet countdown. Not a nag. Just the truth, in view.

Your promises are personal, and your home screen is visible to whoever's nearby. Discreet mode hides the text behind a neutral mark, a safe word, or a real blur — one tap to reveal, and it stays revealed until you decide otherwise. Nobody reads your resolve uninvited.


FULLY OFFLINE. VERIFIABLY.

Promisa has no internet permission. Not "we don't collect data" — it has no technical ability to send anything anywhere, and you can check that yourself in Android's app permissions. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your promises live on your phone and nowhere else.


NO ONE IS TRYING TO KEEP YOU IN THE APP

No streaks. No badges. No daily-open pressure. No notifications at all — the widget is already in view, so there's nothing to ping you about. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no upsells. You pay once and the app is yours.

Promisa is happy if you barely open it. That's the point: the value is on your home screen, not in your session count.


YOUR DATA SURVIVES YOUR NEXT PHONE

Android's own backup restores your promises when you set up a new device. You can also export a backup file yourself, any time, wherever you choose to keep it.
