A "head-to-head minesweeper" with psychic powers. A good game with a lot of charm, personality, and some wonderful art, but some unfortunate letdowns. I hate to speak ill of a game with so much good, but even with some of the powers available, you'll often be put into pure 50/50 guessing situations that will lose you round after round, leading to screaming hair-tearing frustration for people like me, to whom a feeling of fairness is important. Would be more fun against humans than AI.

Absolutely fantastic! If you're a fan of minesweeper-style puzzles, this is a must-try. A cast of fun and charming characters and a solid soundtrack support some very interesting and often kind of intense gameplay. The only feeling better than deciding to guess between two cards and getting the right one is watching your opponent guess between two cards and get the wrong one, complete with cut-ins of their concentration and disappointment. The game's cutscenes/dialogue are also quite entertaining, at least the first time you see them, and the free-play mode means that once you've gotten tired of them you can ignore the story mode. I've already gotten far, far more than the purchase price out of this game, and I haven't even tried the 'Friend's Quest' alternate game mode yet! Overall? I love this game, dude.

Disappointing I love Card City Nights so as soon as I heard about this I jumped on it. I also love minesweeper and Hex cells. Unfortunately, this game doesn't give you enough actual information to be a puzzle game. Occasionally you'll be in a situation you can logic through, but all too often you have to resort to guessing, which is the cardinal sin in game design. It also seems to have no progression at all in terms of mechanics, so you're just playing one random puzzle after another. Can't really recommend it to anyone.
