Using the app
Once onboard, connect your device to the onboard wireless network in 3 simple steps: 1. Turn on Flight Mode. 2. Enable Wi-Fi and connect to the Q-Streaming or Qantas Free Wi-Fi network. 3. Launch the Qantas Entertainment App.

Latest update prevents the map from working. Edit: Running the next update, still didn't work but doing a full uninstall and reinstall has reinstated the map function.

This app sucks. It'll load ads just fine, but it won't actually load any entertainment. I'm yet to watch a single minute of a movie or tv show on this app. I ended up uninstalling the app after playing around with it for 20 minutes.

If im paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars on flights, why am I forced to watch ads? And that's all it was, the actual movies didn't load only the ads, absolutely horrific experience on a 12hr flight as an airline do better!

You're two minutes of ads are, conveniently, the only in-flight entertainment that this app can load. Anything else is too difficult for Qantas to manage. Can they just go back to TVs in the seats again?
