Neat application to create and organize notes. If you are a qnap user, this app releases you from depending on subscription-based apps. Very good and quite capable app. You can also have offline notebooks, which is quite convenient when travelling. It requires a bit of patience on initial setup, but it totally worth it 👌.

The new Notes Station and this Qnotes3 has come a long way, and it looks good enough for me to start switching away from Evernote. I'd like to see Qnotes3 have the option to show the most recent notes on the first screen to make it more efficient. Also, the app stays on the "Loading..." screen too long while it syncs to note station, it should let user make a new note as quickly as possible even before sync finish. In summary, the two metric that Qnotes3 needs to measure is: How quickly can I read my last note?; and How quickly can I start a new note?

Cannot connect to TS-251 NAS to see my notes. I get: "An unexpected error has occurred! Try to refresh your page or contact us if the problem persists." after login.

This is an awful app. My note was truncated after saving. Urls are not auto hyper linked. Cannot even copy & paste! Had to log out and log back in to sync after nootbook restructuring. Sync process is not reliable. Edit: updated to v1.2.1, still have sync problem. One of my phones (running android 9.0) takes ages to sync. The sync icon keeps spinning. It doesn't show the sync timestamp after sync. Reinstall didn't help. My other phone seems working. Note truncation seems has been fixed.

To modify any note you need to allow location permission to app. W/o it it does not work, throwing an error. What is the reason for that? It looks very suspicious, location permission should not be mandatory for any operation with the note, should it? Even more, it requires precise location!! Approximate is note enough!???

I need to replace OneNote. I LOVE Qsync, my QNAP NAS. Photostation. Incredible. Slowly pulling my data back into my own control. The most important part of my data, is my personal knowledge management apps. At the moment, it's onenote. When Qnotes can: - Handle drawing on my phone/tablet - draggable, overlapping layouts (e.g. text boxes) - Resizing/basic image manipulation Then it'll have my automatic 5 stars.
