The only available Python plugin for Tasker which increases flexibility of what can be automated with Android for sure! Now for what needs improvement. The terminal that launches only runs in the foreground and doesn't auto close upon completion. There is no capability to pass variables between QPython to/from Tasker directly which leaves the only option of cobbling together passing data via file(s).

The first time you run the plugin it will correctly start the script. However, the following times when attempting to run the script from Tasker a toast message saying QPython tasker plugin is running, but the script is never run.
