Won't let me load a QR code from a saved image. Tells me I need to give it permission--only there's not a permission option for reading files and photos! Only for using the Camera!

Abysmal as the adds at the bottom of the screen required me to reboot the phone as they obscured the screens exit icon and could not be moved or removed (orig 2/27/2022) The app was updated on 4/2025 due to new phone. The app remains at the bottom of the list of worst apps I have ever had the displeasure to have loaded on my phone. Will delete it once this is written.

Other qr scan app says I can only open screenshot from gallery in this app, while there is no option to allow this app to access pictures from my gallery (even in the device settings), and you can't share the picture to this app
