Horrible app, won't connect with my unit, shows several phantom unnamed devices attached to my profile, cannot delete profile & start over. Zero customer service apparent. I spend this much money on a system and can't get the basic app that monitors it to work

Okay gang, here is the trick. Once you are at Step 3, manually change Wi-Fi to the SSID to the device. Then, PUT YOUR PHONE IN AIRPLANE MODE but keep Wi-Fi connected to the correct network. Tell app to send instructions. If you don't do the above, your phone (not app) sends the data over the active internet connection (your cell signal) vs to the controller SSID.

Managed to connect. Here's what I found: make sure your smart device is already connected to the 2.4 GHz network. Make sure the settings on the softener are correct according to the instructions in the app. Fill out the registration. Go to your smart device's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the EC5 hotspot directly. Make sure your antivirus isn't blocking the connection. You should then be able to register. It took mine several minutes to do so. I hope this helps.

Even when connected, the app says my last regeneration was 1/1/70, and we've used 0 gallons ever. It's 2025, tech is supposed to be better than app that maybe sometimes provides stats. For the developers: Here are the things I'd expect a helpful app to do at a minimum: reconnect automatically; not require a user to stand outside to connect the device to the network unless resetting; allow user to kick off the regeneration cycle from the app.

No usage or system data is displayed in the app. I reinstalled the app but no change. The Rain Soft website says my softener is online.

After regeneration Wi-Fi disconnects. I've gone through the proper steps to reconnect to no avail. This happens frequently and quite frankly, I'm going to uninstall the app because it's useless.
