Recipe Scaler: Servings

Cooking for six when the recipe serves four? Scale it in seconds.

Recipe Scaler does one thing. Paste your ingredient list, set how many servings the recipe makes and how many you want, and the whole list is rewritten with the right amounts. Everything is on one screen, so the answer updates as you type.

WHAT YOU GET
- Servings from 1 to 99 for both "Recipe makes" and "I want"
- Amounts shown in kitchen fractions: 1 1/2, 2/3, 1/4 and so on
- Understands whole numbers, decimals (1.5 or 0,5), fractions (1/2), mixed numbers (1 1/2), unicode fractions and ranges such as 2-3 cloves
- Lines without an amount, like "salt to taste", stay exactly as written
- Try an example button to see how it works, and Clear to start over
- Share the scaled list as plain text in one tap
- Light and dark themes

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No ads
- No account or sign-up
- No internet access and no permissions
- Your ingredient text is never saved. Only the two servings numbers are remembered on your device so the next recipe starts where you left off.

HONEST MATH
Amounts are calculated as exact fractions, so there is no rounding drift when you scale up or down. Values of 10 or more are rounded to a whole number because nobody measures 12 3/8 cups.

Perfect for family dinners, meal prep, holiday baking, halving a recipe for one or doubling it for a crowd.
