Quick and easy set up now (was clunky before). Set and forget! All taken care of after initial set up with auto notifications when things are happening. I've switched on the Score builder, so now my rent payments are contributing to my credit score.

Straightforward setup, though I do recommend checking if BPay is what your agent expects and carefully time your payments ahead of the due date. That being said, Rent pay payments via BPay trigger a receipt from my agent the same day. YMMV

Diabolical that renters now have to pay fees in order to pay our rent, as if we weren't getting stiffed enough on rent and this economy. The only free option requires a person to log in and manually make the payment. Really messed up, and I'm really disappointed that this is the way our Real Estate, and many others, are going. ETA: App owner says "I'm sorry you're not happy with our free way to pay rent" and then continues to list all the ways I can pay them which includes fees. Really? 🙄

Another update as to why you shouldn't use the app: All direct debit schedule I have set deducts the amount on the same day (business day) you have specified. Not with Rent Pay. I even called their customer service about this, but they just gave me a runaround that it was because it's Friday, and it takes a couple of days to clear. I think they are confused about what is clearing time vs processing date for direct debits. - This issue might cause you delays in paying your rent.
