E-Bike customization The Giant RideControl app lets you customize the motor settings the get the most out of your rides. Match the motor settings to your riding style. You can choose for more power and aggressive performance for a quick blast. Or turn it down a notch to make it more efficient for your long and epic adventures.
Navigation Use the RideControl app for turn-by-turn navigation specifically designed for the bike. If your E-Bike is equipped with a compatible RideControl EVO display you can synchronize turn by turn navigation to your display, so there is no need to keep your phone at hand.
Record your Rides Record your rides in detail and share it with your friends. You can choose to synchronize all rides with Strava or manually upload to social media.

Never had an issue with the app & I've used it for years, all the things it sets out to do it does well. Never had an issue with Bluetooth or navigation, updates for the ebike are frequent, I find being able to change power settings useful and effective, trips speed distance etc. accurately match up with my Garmin. Only thing I've not been able to do is register my ebike. Other than that Not sure why the app has so many 1 stars.

The Giant e-bike app nails what an e-bike app should be: it’s easy to navigate, packed with ride stats, and includes built-in navigation. Sure, you need to register, but your data syncs seamlessly, and if you link another Giant bike, all your ride stats stay in sync. Awesome work, Giant!

#UPDATE: No mileage being recorded after latest update so now completely useless#. App is now much improved after its dismal birth. It is now more or less works. Does save battery used for rides now. Sometimes still a bit dodgy after a stop when the bike has switched itself off - usually works but hard to know if phone had reconnected to phone. Mileage since last service still not working after it was messed up a few updates ago. Total mileage now seems to be working reliably.

Open app, login, launch web browser, log in, relaunches app, nothing happens, just asks to log in again, rinse and repeat. Worst app experience I've ever used. Sort it out giant. DJI are showing you for fools.

The recent firmware update to my ebike means the power readings are waylay off. Had a max wattage of 4408 and did an avg of 800 watts on a 1.5hr bike ride.

Another update and now can't connect to the bike at all - what are you doing Giant? Absolutely useless app - don't bother wasting your time with it.
