Connecting to the bike through BT can be a mission if you're not regularly connecting the bike the app. Once your connected again, your good to go, just not great for trailside connecting.

Can't find any way to set the clock on Electra townie go! Bikes. I checked the settings on the bike itself and in the app and the clock setting function appears to be missing. Edit: bike shop says they will install a firmware update to fix the clock issue

Pretty good except one annoying problem, the altitude sometimes drop and app records it as 0 resulting in fake final elevation gain, for example 1000ft gain can turn into 8K ft gain

Waste of time. App disconnects from bike after less than 5 mins riding. Keeps trying and failing to reconnect which seems to throw the actual bike/motor off. Like it doesn't know whether it's powered on or off.

Love the bike, dislike the app. I've given up trying to get it to stay connected to my phone. It often won't connect, then when it does it disconnect minutes into the ride. I'm using it with a Trek Fx+2. I will raise this with the techs at my local Trek store next time I'm in but for now I'm not going to waste more time trying to get this thing to function properly. I haven't been able to try any of the functions because it can hold its connection to the phone. ☹️

I have a rail 5 gen 3 and the app will not connect to bike. Tried many times and in many ways. Have unloaded & re-installed app to be sure. It is poorly written. Stick to the bosch ebike app....it works great!

Often won't connect, or it will take multiple attempts to connect to my bike or my wife's bike. Brand-new fuel EXE models. New Pixel 8a phone. Have to reconnect my Google watch 3 every time I want to go for a ride even though it is connected to the phone already. Crashes 4/5 times I go for a ride, so I lose the ride and power meter data.
