RoomPulse: AR Network Map

RoomPulse turns a walk around your home or office into a 3D map of your network quality.

HOW IT WORKS
• Start an AR measurement and set the floor.
• Optionally mark where your router is.
• Walk around slowly. About once a second, RoomPulse measures HTTP latency, application jitter and HTTP request failure rate, and pins each result to your position in the AR scene.
• Explore a 3D heatmap of your space.

WHAT YOU GET
• Low-quality areas, highlighted only where enough measurements back them up
• Areas that need more measurement, so you know where to walk next
• A router relocation candidate: a direction and distance worth trying, based on your data. Move the router, measure again and compare.
• Before/after comparison of two measurements using summary metrics
• Measurement history with renaming, plus ZIP backups you can save, share and restore
• A plain-language explanation of every result
• 13 languages

GOOD TO KNOW
• Quality scores are RoomPulse's own heuristic, based on HTTP requests to a connectivity-check service. They are not speed tests, ping or packet-loss measurements.
• Router suggestions are candidates to verify by measuring again, not guaranteed best spots.
• Positions are saved only as coordinates within each AR session. RoomPulse does not use GPS.
• The camera is used only for AR tracking. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
• Your measurements stay on your device unless you export a backup.
• On Android, Wi-Fi signal strength (RSSI) appears as a reference value if you allow location access. It is not used in quality scores.
• Requires an Android phone that supports ARCore.
