Great app, easy to use. Really helped us out when we needed to find a dog sitter!

I am a Rover pet sitter. It is a great outlet to establish and allow connection with future clients. There is support and the app is user-friendly.

★★★★★ Debby Hyde-Sato · Sep 26, 2026

We found a great, reasonably priced sitter for our cats. Site is easy to use, too.

★★★★☆ Jamie Secrist · Sep 26, 2026

This is a great service with amazing dog sitters! If you're in Reno, you have to use Rachel F!!! I will say it is a bit difficult to navigate for new users, but they do have an amazing live chat feature that lead me to exactly where I needed to go and get done what I needed to!!! We have found a forever sitter here! Thank you!

Pet sitters do not keep their profiles or availability up to date which is super frustrating. Additionally, the app makes you enter all info every time you send a new request for a sitter, which is such a waste of time. Also, when filling out text fields it doesn't scroll, so it's impossible to edit text.

The app has been having so many issues, won't let me end pet walk now my location is just on for my client to see.

Rover closed my account after two years, 4.9 rating and zero warnings. They took 20% of everything; $1,000 off a single $5,000 booking and then raised their cut to 30%! Then a client claimed his dog was out all night, while I had timestamped photos of the dog indoors at 3:48am and in the morning, and his own messages contradicted each other about who found him. Trust & Safety got all of it. My account was closed. He faced nothing. Two years of commission buys you no benefit of the doubt sitters.
