I’ve been using Pet Backer as a pet care service provider, and so far it has been a great platform to connect with pet owners who are looking for reliable boarding and pet care services. It is easy to use, and I like that it provides a structured way for pet owners and sitters to communicate, arrange bookings, and build trust through profiles and reviews. It’s especially helpful for small home-based pet care providers like me to reach more pet parents without having to run a physical pet shop.

They need to reduce their fees, as a sitter, I am very disappointed wen 30% of wat the pet owner pays goes to Pet backer

Plain bad. Slow customer support. You can't communicate well due to late notifications. Therefore, when you try to text a pet parent and get the response later you lose your chance to get hired. Plus, you can't ever exchange address or phone number to be able to meet or calling, you get restricted. On top of it you are treated as a person who is trying to get customers off the app. Ironically, this app disables you to have connections.

Waste of time really, I've responded to probably more than 50 jobs and only one has actually responded and come through. Their fees are ridiculous and on top of that I had to wait almost 2 months for my payment to come through after repeated messages to them complaining and on top of that had to pay PayPal fees because they don't give you any other option to receive payment. Literally a waste of time. Mad Paws is a much better app.
