GDC This version much better for FLT entries. However, the Android version does not appear to sync with PC or IOS Ipad. Upgraded phone to SNote4 and reinstalled app, but any new flights are not seen on my ipad or PC versions. There is a note but its not clear why this shouldn't work once a sync is done.

I've been using Safe log since I started flying in 2003, initially just the PC app and later on the Android app as well. I love the app, it provides everything you'd expect from a logbook, but it is obvious that the people developing it knew what pilots need - various types of currency, filling out 8710 toward a practical test - whatever you need, Safe log got your back. These days I log my flights on Safe log, and my paper logbook is usually way behind on these, every few months I play catch up and write down the missing flights. I wholeheartedly recommend this app.

Unfortunately I just downloaded the newest update and the app crashes when I try to run the filter on my logbook.

Imports from Roster buster do not include pilot name, automatically calculate day or nighttime, nor do they allow for automatically sorting the flight time between PIC, multi etc. It it possible to reformat the data after import, but this requires manual input. If you want to use safe log to import flight time from Roster buster, then you should look elsewhere. When I requested a refund for my subscription which was used for less than 1 day, they refused citing their terms and conditions.

I paid quite abit for my subscription and this app does not work on my android phone
