Buyer Beware. This app works with an American bank, Elavon I believe. The bank will do a credit check which makes sense but my issue is they do a hard inquiry - your credit score will be affected significantly (this is my experience). I have emailed Samsung POS several times about this issue and we've gone back and forth on the matter. For what it's worth I'm going to launch a dispute through Trans Union. The app itself is fine but I would not have used it if this information was transparent from the start. Why not use a soft inquiry instead? I suspect most people don't keep track of their credit score therefore are none the wiser of what's happening.

I installed the app, filled in all of the information and at the very end saw that the agreement is with Elavon so did an online check and realized that they are a horrible company to do business with. I didn't sign the agreement and removed this app. Before signing up for this service check out the online reviews of Elavon and reconsider.
