I didn't experience the problems others have had with this app. It works as it should and provides me with the news as I expect. However, I think it needs a couple of tweaks. Too many "Australia" articles end up in "World" which makes that page too long to scroll through. News in Brief, Australia and World are all too slow to load as there are too many articles. Put a cut-off date (3, 4, 5 days) and archive the articles with the ability to search them.

While I like the breadth of coverage I don't want so much video content. Transcripts with pictures so that I don't have to play video to get the story

I personally feel that the SBS app needs a review to update the way the app appears to make it more visually appealing. Also, I insist that the SBS app should contain more overseas news and information, like weather information and stories, with less info about local news as I can see that with the ABC Australia app. Please do this, as a priority...and thank you for letting me express my views...

The text size can only be adjusted for articles themselves. The header text to select articles are ridiculously small and make this Android app near useless for people that need a larger text size.

Horizontal swipe is way too sensitive. I have sent a separate complaint with my contact details within the apps help section. While some websites and apps for other services can be a bit sensitive for accidental horizontal swipes, this SBS News app is much more sensitive again, making article reading almost impossible. I note others have complained here without any success from SBS so can only add my voice to the cranky crowd.

I do not expect notifications to be sent to me in Chinese. Whilst I appreciate SBS encourages diversity the app needs to be more targeted to the users demographic.
