Reduced my rating to four. Why can't I write multiple paragraphs when commenting on news items? The enter button disappears from my on-screen keyboard, which is most annoying.

The latest version of this app often takes forever to load the main page. This did not previously happen. A white screen shows with the twirling loading circle and takes a minute or more before the front page appears. It also occasionally crashes on our Samsung tablet, and suffers from the news taking minutes to load also. The latest app STILL has ongoing problems scrolling when there are images included in the article. This problem has been present since the new version was rolled out.

I am unable to read previously downloaded copies of the paper when I am in remote locations and out of network range. The App appears to be trying to verify my subscription as it is stuck on a page about subscriptions. Big flaw. This is not an issue in other news media apps as downloaded copies of newspaper are saved as PDFs. PS: if you can't read the downloaded paper then App is a zero star. Time to look for alternative subscription service

This app is appalling, specifically in the comments function. Replies to others are repeated ad nauseam, before, attached to and after the commented on post, thus such responses appear out of context and are often incomprehensible. They also clutter up the thread. It is also not possible to copy and paste from articles to illustrate comment context. I cannot edit my co.ments to removectypos etc. Give me the old app.
