Why did I download this I still got a scammed phone number call me last week l almost got scammed, they asked to log into the bank and transfer money then suddenly I waited up, l ask why you want me transfer money, they said my name got people used to open credit card so need me to transfer money to verify to checking, lucky in the end I scared l don't transfer the guy angry, they ask me at home wait, they send police to my house, then l said l wait for you, then l faster off away and block the number?

A +66 number tried to call me in WhatsApp (twice in 24 hours), and I tried to report it. However, after entering the number in the web form, I was told that Scam shield could not check if it was a scam if I did not pick up the call. I mean, why would I? I don't know anyone from Thailand and I only knew it was a Thai number cos I googled.

My dad was almost scammed, only halted by the bank, and I realized that all the numbers involved were already previously reported but not blocked by Scam shield, your agency seriously needs to put in more resources to verify and block reported numbers more efficiently else this app is as good as useless and the public who are helping to report scammers will simply lose faith and stop reporting. Also, allow us to attach police reports as supporting evidence to immediately block numbers.

Try call using own 2nd number, not spoofed. Instead, it shows spoofed & scam. All number search in the apps show spoofed even some of them not spoofed. Better stick with true caller.
