ScamShield helps protect you from scams by blocking shady calls, filtering scammy SMSes, and letting you check suspicious messages before clicking anything regrettable.
Here’s what ScamShield can do:
📢 [New] Get notified when a number you reported gets flagged If the authorities later mark a number you reported as possibly used by scammers, we’ll send you a push notification. You can also check your history of flagged numbers in the app.
🕵️♀️ Spot a scam before it gets you Got a weird link, message, or phone number? Paste it in to see if it might be a scam. You can even upload screenshots - works for SMS, WhatsApp, and Telegram too.
🚫 Block and filter scam calls & SMSes Follow our quick setup guide to block known scam numbers and filter out sketchy messages.
📝 Report suspicious calls, messages, and links Help the community by reporting scams - with screenshots if you have them. The more we know, the better we can protect everyone.
⚠️ Heads up: Submitting a scam report in the app isn't the same as filing an official police report. If you've been scammed, please file an e-report with the Singapore Police Force.

Scam shield was good and easy to report scammers phishing in the mid-stage, but now it so requires users to answer calls from Strangers/Scammers that are calling from overseas before WE can report the caller to warn others in the database. If we don't answer the scammer's caller. I DO NOT HAVE callers calling me from overseas. I have other means to communicate by. Why make it so difficult?

My dad was almost scammed, only halted by the bank, and I realized that all the numbers involved were already previously reported but not blocked by Scam shield, your agency seriously needs to put in more resources to verify and block reported numbers more efficiently else this app is as good as useless and the public who are helping to report scammers will simply lose faith and stop reporting. Also, allow us to attach police reports as supporting evidence to immediately block numbers.

Try call using own 2nd number, not spoofed. Instead, it shows spoofed & scam. All number search in the apps show spoofed even some of them not spoofed. Better stick with true caller.
