I have scanned 4 separate shopping, and it's recognized them but no rewards.

Rating the concept, not so much the app as I didn't use it; Why on earth are they making people scan stuff one by one and manually enter details, all of which is available on a receipt? Why not lodge that, why all the extra labor? I have to assume as a way to slow down rewards. But also when I asked them this, they gave a robot reply which in no way addressed my question but was filled with info on how to use the app.
