It turns your mobile device into a sheet music scanner! Simply take one or multiple photos of your sheet music and transfer it to the desktop version of ScanScore with the push of a button. There, you can start the recognition process, make corrections, tentatively, and export it to MusicXML or directly into the music notation program FORTE.

Pretty neat. I was able to scan some pages in, and it plays them back. Doesn't capture some pages and a bit finicky, but this is a really cool app. Requires desktop companion. For those saying it doesn't work and only scans barcodes, you didn't read instructions on the screen :)

App works GREAT to scan music and get it to my computer scan score 3 (pro) to proof/export XML to notation program. Saves me a lot of time. It does take a while to learn how to use the program correctly. In the app, when you select music you've scanned, it needs to be square with 90° angles....the box should turn blue, not red. When you upload the scan to computer, the auto threshold (automatically selected) is too dark for a good scan. Uncheck, slide threshold to just before it all goes black.

Literally crashed in the first minute and somehow got the flashlight on my phone stuck on even after uninstalling the app until I restarted it

Android app is really convenient, but fidelity is extremely poor when using the app to import sheet music photo into Scan Score on laptop. Using Samsung Galaxy S10e (high quality camera). File looks grainy. Apparently not using the highest camera resolution on phone.

After I take the picture and upload the image, it seems to go nowhere. When I go to Scan Score afterward and try to upload from app it tells me that there are no files on the server. I have tried uninstalling and I reinstalling, I have retaken the images many times, but nothing seems to have changed. As this is the whole purpose of the app, I can't give it a higher rating.
