It's nice to have detailed nautical vector charts and AIS info combined. The latter is read either from Internet or NMEA. Definitely a great app.

Perfect product getting better all the time. Prices are low cost. Updates when connected to internet. Versions for IOS, Android and windows. Charts are perfect same quality as Avionics & C-Map charts. Has lots of features such as weather routing etc. Try their free trial period. If you have problems getting a USB GPS working on your PC with this software then use an Android phone use app "GPS 2 NET"on Google play through router from Android device for GPS in ip to nmea. Sorted.

I'm surprised by how many negative reviews this app gets. I'm using it with an external GPS and the Race Box Injector app, and it works like a professional chart plotter. You just need to smooth the COG and SOG, and that's it. After adjusting the ship's dimensions, you get a display comparable to professional marine navigation equipment. I would say this is one of the best navigation apps available for Android.

Have used for several years, all worked well, now stopped with 'bug' no response, does not reload, bought by bigger coy and stopped ???

What does it even do? Installed and it shows a blocky chart and nothing else without payment? Orca gave me so much more for free and Avionics is great too. I have all Ray marine electronics, this is rosewood poor.

On Samsung Tab S6, USA. Sea Pilot had no functions. Could not load or purchase charts, clicking any content options (charts, gribs, polars) resulted in a blank screen. It just did not work. Trial should at least contain a world base map, so you can get a feel. Navigation on a blank screen, not helpful. Still unclear why it needs to manage phone calls, especially on a Tablet (this is not a phone)

Unable to try without creating an account with either email or facebook. Tried again in 2023 - still needs an account to even try.....🙄
