We supply trail descriptions, directions to the trail head, points of interest and the ability to follow your progress in real time with your GPS. Following the trails has never been easier. Now you can concentrate on enjoying the beauty of Sedona and not map reading or deciphering stacks of rocks. Load the Trail information into your Android device and “Take a Hike”! The trail maps and points of interest are preloaded so you don’t need cell service. Visit and explore www.SedonaHikingApp.com for trail listings and hike highlights with pictures from the trails. Here’s how it works: After you decide on the trails you’d like to experience you download the trails onto your device (with a network connection) and select them as you do the hike. Everything you need is in each hike package. 1. Highlights and features of the selected hiking trail. 2. Length and difficulty rating of the trail. 3. A detailed description of the trail and what you’ll encounter and experience on the hike. 4. Directions to the trail head or Google directions and map if you so desire and have network connection. 5. A trail map on screen that allows you to follow your progress and see your location in real time via GPS so you can be confident you’re on the trail. 6. There are trail markers for intersections to watch for and pictures of what is ahead on the trail so you don’t miss out on sights that might be slightly off the trail.

We gathered our trail data on the trail, not copied from various web pages like the Forest Service, or crowd sourced trail ratings found online. All our trails are hiked by us, tracks are recorded by us and verified by us, not downloaded from random hike web sites. So we think you will see the difference!

Recent changes: Android Version 2.9 New maps, less memory usage and can show the surrounding area for better overall viewing. We have added an option in the map screen to show all the trailhead locations in the app so seeing where you are in relation to the other trailheads couldn’t be easier. First timers to Sedna...this app was super useful with the driving directions to trailheads and being able to occasionally check location during hikes. Most of the trails were simple enough to follow, but we did get turned around on a couple and used app to get back on track. I missed the "narrow" comment on Doe Mountain... I thought this trail was a bit tougher than others due to narrow trail in spots and steepness. Glad I purchased app. Well worth the 5 bucks!

Awesome App! This was fun to have a green dot tell me where I was on the trail. The key point information is very helpful for staying on the trail. No more wondering which way to go! My husband and I enjoyed the photos and looking for the same scenes along the way. We found the maps very precise and on target with the real trail. We had no idea there were so many trails to explore. This is so much more convenient than a hiking book, and cheaper! What a great resource we have found that will inspire me to go back and hike some more! Thank you!

Very limiting app. I'm a runner and just want a phone version of all Sedna trails on a map with my GPS dot. I want to be able to see the maps before downloading, and I want to be able to see multiple "hikes" at a time on a map. The map is the most important part of an app like this, and it's an afterthought here. I don't care about all the text/descriptions, I just want a trail map!!

Poor at best. This app couldn't even lead us to the trail head. Rest assured though, good old Google Maps led us there. How do I get a refund? Update. That's funny. Your app took is to the wrong location for three trail heads. I used Google Maps to search for the trail heads. No issues. We actually had Your app on a Droid phone and an apple. Same results. I suggest listening to your users and correcting your problems.
