One thing you can always count on with ZWO is that they take their product users feedback into consideration and even include it in product software updates. The application now compared to when the See star s50 came out in 2023 is honestly incredible to say the least. Very user-friendly for beginners & advanced users.

The perfect gateway into astronomy. The S50 can easily outperform outdated visual telescopes in under 5 minutes per celestial object, with views surpassing those from a 10-inch telescope. All the while, using a medium with which you are already familiar, such a smartphone or preferably a tablet. This is called EAA electronically assisted. Astronomy and smart scopes are the future of amateur, astronomy and basic astrophotography. The Sea star S50 moves amateur astronomy into the future.

I absolutely love this app/telescope! For those who are either new to astrophotography or new to just viewing the cosmos, this app/ telescope combo makes it super easy and fun. I have taken some amazing pics of nebulas, moon, galaxies etc. The community you can share it with from the app is also amazing and fun to interact with. I enjoy it all and the experience very much, and I believe/hope you will as well.

Since the latest firmware upgrade it doesn't work so I have expensive piece of equipment that doesn't donors job because of bugs glitches in firmware come ZWO get it sorted. Not very happy people out here

Ads! I will only give ONE star until you remove the ads! We already have the telescope, we are using your product, why on the app we see ads for it?

Latest update the See star can no longer find the Bluetooth connection, therefore I cannot use my telescope. Thanks a lot ZWO. The app is so flaky you can't even submit a bug report. You just get a spinning wheel going around ad infinitum. 06/05/2026 In response to ZWO - I have reached out to customer support and heard nothing back...not even an acknowledgement email. I am not on Facebook, nor do I intend to be.
