Description

A skilled person has to find the work, while a common man has to find the right person for
the smaller tasks. This innovative experiment of Seva Bharati Malwa province can help
bridge this gap.
In everyday life, people of every class often do not know where to go and whom to contact
for small and big works. Specially, housewives often get frustrated for the repairing of
smaller household electric items like - washing machine, geyser etc. or several plumbing
tasks. The person who works properly at a reasonable price is looking for that. But, since the
same type of work does not happen again and again, there lies a problem in finding the right
person. At the same time, due to lack of proper information about repairing work, the
consumers are often cheated by showing them that the work is too much. While there are
numerous labor seekers scattered in the society. From plumber, electrician, painter to women
running boutiques and catering artisan, all of them are adept and authentic at their work, but
due to limited resources, they are neither able to advertise nor can set up their shop, so the
potential customers are unable to reach them. As a result, both have problems, they do not get
work and the society is often looted behind big posters. The other side effect of this is that
our society becomes dependent on artisans of other special classes without even wanting it.
Which is playing with the economy as well as security. What is the solution for this?
Taking a pledge for the all-round development of the entire society, Seva Bharati is engaged
in the work of upliftment of society through projects of education, health, self-reliance and
social harmony. In this series, one step to solve the above problem is to create a database of
labor seekers. Through this mobile app, labor seekers from all over the province have been
listed, collecting names, addresses, phone numbers of various individuals/ groups working in
more than 60 categories and dividing them according to region and work. Like the search
engines of the internet, this app will make available a list of skilled agencies or individuals
for any specific work at any district - tehsil location.
