The idea has decent bones, but needs work. This is the second Bluetooth screen style device that I have used, and I'm finding that it lacks the ability to control the timing of slides and upload GIF images as a series of frames. If those two features and reliability were improved it would be on par with other LED display type devices while not quite being at the same level as Nyan Gear.

The mask is cool and speaks to the app sometimes, but it's VERY GLITCHY & touchy. You can't lock in the face very easily. It starts randomly flipping through all the faces while you wear it. I had a grim reaper costume but as I arrived people were laughing because my mask kept cycling through ALL of its emoji and creepy faces, repeatedly. The app doesn't tell you it's happening, barely works. You can only know by taking off the mask. It never fixed itself. Waste of money.

When I first got the mask and heard you could make your own images, I was really hoping you'd manually be able to do pixel art from the app, so you could make the images turn out exactly how you wanted it to. I was very disappointed to see that it was only through uploaded images for the Diy section. I wouldn't have bought the mask had I known that. It would be really great if you could make this an option. Also, the image capacity seems to be a bit bugged. Also, allow us to center the text please

Why does a mask app require my location? The app will not even open unless you get it permission to track location.
