Well, all the problems I had previously had been solved. Great app, just needs an eyedropper for convenience really Edit: Ok now one of my animations only work when I'm connected to it, and the screen just freezes when it tries to load in device storage, can anyone/app devs help?

The app is brilliant. Lots of effort was clearly put into the app. I'm using this app with the Kmart LED Pixel Display, and I'm so impressed at what this app allows this to do for just $10. I love that you can save images/animations onto the device itself and then switch between them using the device buttons. On my S25 Ultra, the app is instantaneous and will adjust brightness and send images/animations to the machine with no delay. I'm impressed by the variety of the "Cloud Material" page too :)

This is more of a review of the app than the PaintX screen (I bought the 32x32 version during vacation on a whim. The color balance is poor and unchangeable, but that's another story.) The app itself is fairly easy to use and functionality is good. HUGE pain is the use of 3 different color pickers - in the editor I cannot pick a color in the palette close to a solid RGB, only the 7 predetermined swatches work. EDIT: circle on palette picker does not get close enough to corner, on iOS it does.

Well it kinda works.....as most users said frequently disconnects or crashes due to programming errors. Setting up your own pics with material you've imported is near impossible. No real instructions are given. I mean sure if you select clock you get the clock, but it doesn't say select a category if you want it to just display that category. So the app is very convoluted and forget saving a preset as it locks the app up (or least it did for me). Organize it and fix the bugs, and it might be good.

Every single time it connects to my pixel LED display it starts to try updating it then the app crashes and the LED display needs to be restarted. I can no longer use my LED display waste of money.

The device itself is awesome but the app is janky, very limited and unintuitive! Speed controls are broken, save to device button works but freezes app, and when saving multiple animations to device you only have a time limit option to display those animations, you can't set each to play an exact number of times before it switches to the next. (For anyone trying to import GIF's from Divoom for instance, you select "Animation" from the home screen then the small folder icon at the bottom right)
