I have been using this app for years since it's one of the few ones that properly shuffle songs. I can mostly recommend it, but it does have a very specific problem I would like to see addressed. It will not play songs with a # sing in the name/title. If this gets resolved I would bump my score up to 5 stars.

Pretty good simple music player. However, really frustrated by the inconsistencies of the search function. For example, I'm trying to find "I'm Not Going to Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You." searching "I'm not" only returns "I'm an Outlaw" for some reason, "teach you" works, but "teach your" doesn't, "boyfriend how to" works, "boyfriend how to dance with" doesn't etc. baffled by this.

It was the only independent Android music player that I could feel comfortable committing to. The price is good and the interface doesn't get in the way. An issue I've had is that songs removed from storage are hard to remove here. I understand it's undesirable to purge information automatically, because of swappable storage, but I'd expect the app to offer an option to remove nonexistent files; as is, it seems I might have to manually exclude everything, and have it on permanent record.

Cannot import playlists that is cross compatible across multiple other music players, include the legacy Shuttle+ player.

Paid for Shuttle+ and using it quite happily until I upgraded my phone and ran into a playback bug. So installed this and found that excluding songs doesn't work properly (it still shows the artist/album even when you've excluded everything inside), and it doesn't respect the disc # tag, so track 1 on disc 1 is followed by track 1 on disc 2. This is basic stuff that worked in the old app, and now I'm asked to pay again for something that's gone backwards. Reminds me of Sonos. Will go elsewhere.
