★★★★★ When observing, I have my phone attached to my telescope and use this app as a Push-To aid. It's brilliant. The free version is probably enough for me, but I bought the Pro version just to support the developer

★★★★★ Excellent program...great with DOBs This is an excellent planetarium program. I still prefer Sky Safari 4 PRO for wireless telescope control, but this is great with non-driven or non-electronically guided DOBS. I have a ASUS T-700 Android Tablet that has a compass.... I also have a Samsung 12" tablet and SKYE works fine on both. I had the free version for a long time but decided to upgrade to support the programmer and to add the few new features. Wish it had a description of the various objects. For that Sky Safari is superior and also shows images of the objects.

★★☆☆☆ When I bought this app I was happy and it worked. Now the last 3 phones I have installed this on it sticks on north and won't work. Worked on Gs3. Doesn't work on Note2 and note 3 and note 10.1 2014. UPDATED: It never worked on the older note devices. Tests ended up failing on every device that used a magnet for a flip cover. It does open and function, but GPS fails to provide acurate results on Note 9, 10, 20 Ultra 5G and now Tab S8 Ultra. I do not use this app for looking at the sky sadly...
