Description

A luglio 2018, grazie al sostegno della Fondazione Roma, La Sapienza ha istituito un laboratorio di simulazione e addestramento medico, ubicato presso il polo didattico di Formazione Medica Avanzata dell’Ateneo nell’Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Policlinico Umberto I.

Il centro è dotato di strumentazioni ed apparecchiature altamente tecnologiche, ed è in grado di realizzare scenari ad alta fedeltà. Si rivolge a studenti e specializzandi afferenti alle Facoltà di Medicina e Odontoiatria e Farmacia e Medicina, per la simulazione di interventi in urgenza e in condizioni di crisi, come alterazioni respiratorie, cardiocircolatorie e renali.

Grazie all’utilizzo di manichini innovativi e iper-realistici, è possibile esercitarsi con l’esecuzione di attività e pratiche mediche specifiche come la realizzazione di fasciature, l’applicazione di punti di sutura, manovre di cateterizzazione e prelievo, tecniche di rianimazione cardiopolmonare.

Obiettivo dello Skill Lab è permettere ai propri fruitori di mettere in pratica, sotto la supervisione di docenti con il ruolo di “facilitatori”, la teoria medica in condizioni di assoluta sicurezza ed eticità, prima di passare alla fase diretta sul paziente.

Attraverso questa app, gli studenti possono inoltre scaricare materiale utile per le esercitazioni, accedere a checklist operative, consultare casi clinici simulati e prepararsi al meglio alle attività previste dallo Skill Lab.
