Everyone is whinging about this, but it works perfectly for me. Just turn it off until you need it, turn it on and in 10 seconds I'm ready to take payment. Oh boohoo you have to manually type in the payment amount...or people who don't know how to calculate a surcharge? How lazy has society become?

It took some getting use to but loving now. I turn it off to preserve the battery. When I need it, I turn on the reader, open the app, in under 10 seconds it connects. I take the payment. I close the app, so it's not running in the background, and turn off the reader. I used to click off the app and was having to log in all the time and pair. But now that I'm stopping the app running in the background, it connects straight away.

When it works, it's great. But what's bothersome is it disconnecting from the reader a couple of times a day, and it's really not easy to reconnect. I know it's a new device and app, so I'll give it time but my review isn't changing until it stops disconnecting, and I don't have to restart my phone and device to reconnect it. I haven't been able to get it to reconnect for 2 days now, they're sending me a new device, so we will see if it helps. I'm doubtful as it seems to be an issue everyone's having.

It's not letting me log in keep asking to turn my developers mode off Why do I need to turn my developers mode off for this particular app? No other banking app asking me to do that including Comm bank apps.

This app is so useless I do not trust at all taking these to a market. It appears you can only have 1 device per phone, so if you have multiple staff, you need your details set up on separate phones. Also switching between devices is impossible, so if one were to die or glitch, you cannot easily use a backup. Support from commonwealth is non-existent. Don't waste your time even if these are free. Buy a square

Compare to Square, the function of this app is very basic, need to type the amount each time, no pre-typed regular used items, Square can remember the receipt email address for returned customer, but this one not. And the reader disconnects every half hour, very annoying

Very bad experience. Followed all instructions but Couldn't connect reader to my phone. Has spoked to their customer service but took so long to answer. Is now for replacement but still haven't receive today. I need it tomorrow. Oh my God!

the same time period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the renewal.
