Description

SmartControl is the companion smartphone application for the Motorola Solutions Body Cameras (V300*, VB400, V500, V700 & SVX) and In Car Video Systems (M500E). The SmartControl app connects to the cameras using Bluetooth and WiFi, allowing law enforcement officers to view digital evidence event recordings, categorize incidents and stream video footage directly to their mobile devices.
*V300 device firmware must be upgraded to version 2.0.2.3 or later.

All location settings are on and still says to turn on settings. App will not do anything else...

I have no idea what this is for, it looks as if it uses my camera in a covert manner however it looks like it was specifically made for police officers which is kind of bizarre. Especially since I'm a civilian who purchased a Motorola phone, and I was seeking for software that Motorola creates and found this.
