Monitor, manage and perfectly smoke your favourite BBQ from your Android smartphone while getting the weekend shopping done! Stress less, enjoy more, smoke perfectly!
The Smartfire App includes: - Status screen provides a 'single look' status of the pit and food probes - Setup Your Pit screen enables you to dial in your desired target pit temperature, along with high and low threshold alarms and a fan override switch. - Setup Probe screen enables you to choose your target temperatures, alarms and nick names associated with a probe. You select the meat type associated with the probe, ie 'Pork' then either swipe or tap the left/right arrows to change the selection. The options available are Beef, Pork, Chicken, Fish and Custom. For each primary meat type, there are multiple meat and doneness combinations, ie 'Steak (medium rare) - 130F' within Beef. - Settings screen to customise your pit type, temperature scale, whether alarm sounds are on and the desired alarm sound effect. - WiFi Setup screen to pair your phone and Smartfire Controller and provide your WiFi credentials for the Controller to use

The hardware is great. I've been using smart fire for a number of years and highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the updated app have some minor bugs for Android, most annoying is the inability to save a change in temperature from F to C. While there is an option to make this change it doesn't take effect. So 5 stars for the hardware and 4 for software (I pretty much do everything on C not F). That being said, give this a go.

With recent changes this app is now really good. No more connectivity issues, and it's always being improved. Overall a great piece of bbq hardware and now a capable app too. Highly recommended.

Works 100% great on my Amado. So good to just stick a probe in, light the fire and walk away. I've got this thing dialed in now, I can literally go to bed and leave a brisket or pulled pork on all night and have it ready to rest by the morning. Highly recommend it.

Strange readings, dome temp is steady smart fire shows 60 degrees fluctuation inexplicably??. Keeps dropping out of Wi-Fi, 15 feet away...

Temperature charts don't work on Android or the web app. Looks nothing like pictures. Smart fire device itself works great but the app does not.

Constantly had to reconfigure it or uninstall, reinstall and set it up (which is always a pain to do). One temp probe died after 7 months. 12 months the device started reading temps when probes weren't plugged in (only pit probe in but got random readings for the others) Temp probe 3 slot completely stopped working all together 12–16 months. Device completely broke after 18 months, fan bearings seized. Not worth the time or the exorbitant price tag! ~$400! Had reached out to support, wasn't help

This app doesn't see a wifis. The smart fire device is blinking blue, 8 can choose the device, then it says "which Wi-Fi should we connect to?" And it can't find any wifis. I have a Google Nest Wi-Fi router with 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi and a guest Wi-Fi. I've done a full Wi-Fi reset on the device as well and still no dice.

Keeps freezing up, and now I can't find my unit on the app. It keeps telling me I need a smartphone to open which I have a smartphone

Constantly crashes and freezes. Open lid mode is triggered every couple of
minutes so the fan turns off. Tried to change this is advance settings and
keeps resetting to normal mode. Looks like it would be a good app without
the bugs but right now it's taking a couple of hrs to get to temp with the
open lid problem.
