UX/UI: is quite good - simple, yet functional. Navigation took me a while to put in action on my Android phone: I had to disable "power saving mode", then it worked :-) HW: torx screw heads were not fully covered under the SmartHalo2 main unit - security weakness! Using the supplied L-shaped torx key, I can actually disassemble the unit even the alarm is ON. You need simply patience and non vibrating hands. If the bike is parked next to a river or lake, you can quickly throw it into water...

Great for bike commuting!!! Would like to see this linked to trail forks so that there will be an off-road biking use for this. There should also be a tap command for the fitness controls. All the features can be controlled by tapping except the fitness controls, for example turn on/off or switch to distance or speed display.

I bought the Smart Halo primarily for the anti-theft alarm. When triggered the alarm is relatively quiet for a few seconds before it gets loud. It knows when you are nearby because the Bluetooth linking between the device and your phone. I can also set a passcode (to tap on the device when my phone is not around) and a sensitivity. That's ideal because I've forgotten to disable it a few times before I started moving and saved myself some embarrassment.

Hi got my smart halo as an Xmas present off the misses. But the app not working error message when trying to create an account. Tried to contact customer service no reply. Is this company still going or has it closed. Or is it am not in Canada or the USA. Manchester uk

Sorry to say that, but by my experience with this device is negative. Look,
my phone play music, show me the time & date, give me navigation and so on.
So why should I dry my phone buttery & using my data of my phone with it? -
Tha alarm of smart halo is negative to because when I set the alarm on and
uncontracted from my phone or even when is contacted, it is started alarming
miles awey from the place where my bicycle was parking. Also, when is
alarmed (made the noise, ) noone cared about it, so it's not protected
anything. At my first experience with smart halo I felt, so it is useless!
Then I was thought about to keep this gift for reason of the alarm, but it's
alarming far away, and how could I hear it if I am in a shopping center for
example? It is doesn't show up on my phone and even if later the developers
update it, so we can know about the alarming by the phone the Bluetooth
range is very limited isn't it so how...will we know that someone pull
awey the bike of us? I'M NOT RECOMMENDED TO BUY IT!!!! Another problem;
sometimes not working when I tap on the screen what else problems will come
up? You guys not planning to do something to make it better?

Smart halo app login password isn't working, I have a standard password and till last month it was working, now getting an error"login ID and password combination is invalid"... Not even getting an email when I use "forgot password" option.... and unfortunately No response from the halo team... Without login device is useless.... Disappointed
