Wonderful app to plan quiet routes on bike, or fastest if in a hurry. You can track your ride if you haven't a plan too, or draw on the map to change the route (if you wanted to go via certain green spaces etc.). Really enjoying Cycles!

Route planning in the free version is so weird and WILDLY inconvenient. I can have one route set for a destination that works perfectly for me and keeps me off main roads just fine, but then I set the destination to literally half a block farther and suddenly that route requires premium, and the only free routes add more than a mile to my trip or put me on five lane roads with cars going 50mph+with no bike lane?? What is going on here??

Routes I looked up a day before are only premium only the next day. Nice scam bro. Also the routing has nearly killed me. Showing pathed ways that aren't pathed at all.

The free version is practically unusable. Even when the shortest or fastest route is selected, it sends you on much longer routes and sometimes makes you turn back. It also avoids direct roads and takes you through heavy traffic, only to rejoin the same road near the destination. The paid version is no better than Google Maps, which is free.
