Much better than the old Toshiba app. Unfortunately, the Alexa integration is lacking, so my Toshiba Smart Portable AC is dumber than it used to be. Alexa just shows an infinite loading screen when I click on my AC. Whatever team is working on the Alexa skill messed up pretty badly.

The app works well mostly, but suffers from cloud delays and connectivity issues. Users want advanced power automation (like dropping to 50% or Eco mode midnight) which is missing from current startup settings. Additionally, Ieco mode uses excessive power compared to eco-mode and 50% gear function, while Eco mode stops cooling prematurely after some time. So it on and off cooling. This option might be good in western countries but in high humidity and heat MENA countries this causes problem.

Initially inaccurate, operation hours not reflecting actual usage so kwh consumed was probably very inaccurate also. Now it no longer works for my split AC, showing 0kwh consumed after a day of actual use. Being able to monitor usage and kwh consumed was a selling point for me, now it's pretty much useless. Instead of shoving these useless AI and other fancy features, why not focus first in making the app more accurate and actually usable?

The app has dark mode everywhere else than the device controller page. LOL 😆 where we stay and use most of the app
