App was working fine, but recently having issues as it seems to be stuck in updating appliance. Message says updating appliance and not to use or unplug and shouldn't take any more than 15 min. However, nothing happens. I've continued using AC manually since I cannot have my room hot!

I should remember last settings, but it doesn't. It's not the end of the world, but it is annoying. Click to turn on, click to cool, click to medium, and twelve clicks to get to my preferred temp. So 14 clicks when it could literally be one click. No one is going to die, but a good engineer wouldn't see this as acceptable, let alone optimal. An easy software fix, if you folks at Frigidaire are paying attention?

App stuck in "updating appliance" since the last update. So, I'm unable to control the unit except manually.

July 2026: So glad I learned not to trust updates from Frigidaire! Loads of people are having failures, but I am sticking with a version that works. Old: If I change settings on the unit, the app won't see the changes. Even the room temperature is permanently stuck at where it was prior to the update. I tried deleting the data, deleting the app, and reinstalling and logging in again, but the data remains fixed due to a server-side issue. It was already an annoying app. Now it's almost useless.

Garbage. I purchased a dehumidifier, installed the app, it says the app doesn't work in the United States. Uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, chose Canada as my location. Added the dehumidifier to the app, it says it's connected to the dehumidifier but can't access it.
