Backuped 10560 SMS on padfone 2 android 4.1.1 and successfully restored them on padfone S+ android 6.0. Be careful to select the app from the same author and not the incompatible app with the same name from SyncTech Pty Ldt. Very slow, it restores one SMS a second at the end, so an hour for 10560 SMS.

Love it First app I come across after some searching that can truely backup and restore native MMS with attachments like photos and videos embedded in the message. The previous 3 transfer apps including the HTC transfer tool wasn't able to do the basics properly. I have also used another sms backup tool and they would all transfer sms only, except for this app. It's free unlike other sms tools I found. I'm really greatful for this as my search is over.

Almost perfect Got my SMSes back but the SMS app seems to list them in random order, the top one is someone I've not spoke to for ages, but when I click into someone everything is correct. When new SMSes arrive they are put at the top, in the correct order. so hopefully it will sort itself out.

i am using Huwaei P8 lite and i used this app to create a backup.Backup was saved in its default file but when i try to restore,app ask me to make sms backup&restore as your default sms and later you can restore your messages to your phone default sms app. but when i complete a restore i am unable to find my messages in my Msg app. please help.i had lost very imp data.Thanks

Didn't do what it said Said it was backing up, showed files but when I went to restore NO files were on SD card and NO files cld be found. Wld not restore. I hav Galaxy S4. So disappointed!!! Used different app called SMS bk up & restore by rit?? It's Blue, the very first one on my list.
