Snippet is a personal code notebook for Android that serves as the official demonstration showcase for compose-highlight (dev.hossain:compose-highlight), a syntax highlighting library for Jetpack Compose.

Built for developers, Snippet lets you explore syntax highlighting themes on mobile while serving as a fast, offline-first tool for keeping code snippets, managing GitHub Gists, and sharing code images.

• Real-Time Language Auto-Detection: Automatically detects programming languages and applies matching syntax highlighting to shared or unassigned code snippets.
• Theme Gallery: Preview 8 bundled editor themes with paired light and dark palettes: Tomorrow, GitHub, Atom One, and Dracula.
• Streaming Simulator: Benchmark live token streaming with real-time character throughput readouts and progress indicators.
• Styled Code Cards: Export high-resolution code images with customizable padding, gradient backgrounds, and window controls (Carbon / Ray.so style).

• Instant Search: Fast full-text search powered by SQLite Room and FTS4.
• GitHub Gist Integration: Connect your GitHub Personal Access Token to browse multi-file Gists, create or edit gists, and import or export snippets.
• AI Coding Assistant: Built-in demo powered by Cloudflare Workers AI (zero configuration needed), with optional Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) support for OpenRouter.
• System Share Target: Send code to Snippet from any browser or app via the Android share sheet with automatic code extraction.
