You can now broadcast remotely as well. So if no one is picking up the phone at home you can send a message to the entire house from anywhere in the world. This remote broadcast feature is supported on Sonos One, Amp, Play:5 (gen 2), Beam, One SL, Move, as well as the SYMFONISK table lamp with WiFi and SYMFONISK WiFi bookshelf speakers.
SONOFY also works with your Sonos speakers to make sure you never miss what matters most to you...that urgent phone call from your child's daycare, the emergency text from your elderly parents, or simply your smart doorbell when you are expecting a guest. SONOFY broadcasts the notifications you choose to be notified about over your Sonos speakers.
You can now put your phone down and keep your peace of mind...now that's digital well-being.

Wow. Solving first world problems 🎩!! I was about to blow 2k on a whole house intercom system since my wife and I were tired of yelling at the top of our lungs for the kids across the house. We already had 10 sonos speakers on Sonos Net, and now for 5 bucks I'm good to go with an excuse to buy more sonos speakers and still come out ahead. Super convenient swipe down to type and announce. Also a widget to record voice. Brilliant!!!

I use the App primary with my Ring Doorbell. Every time someone rings a user-defined message is broadcasted over the pre-determined Sonos Devices. Also works for WhatsApp, SMS, Calls. You can even broadcast you own message (typed or recorded). Example: you have dreadful kids (like I do) playing in the living room while you are on the 1st floor. You can now scream at them over your Sonos! Beware: if you pay for the lifetime plan you don't get a Gift basket! No matter how sweet you ask. 1A Support!

Why would I have to sign in to my Google account to use this app? No, thanks. No option to just log into my Sonos? I try to keep my Google account private.

Very expensive for very little value. If it was cheaper I would buy, but not for the price being charged. This app is for silly purposes, so the price should reflect that
