Description
Reporting a vehicle breakdown via the Start Rescue app is quick and hassle free. And even if you are unsure of your location, we will use your smart phone’s GPS to locate you. Once you have completed the simple steps to report a vehicle breakdown, a Recovery Operator will be allocated to you in as little as 20 seconds. You will then receive a notification (via the app, SMS or a telephone call) to tell you who is coming out to you and how long they'll be, with the option in many instances, for you to also access live tracking .
The app is free and available to both Start Rescue members and non-members. If you are not a Start Rescue member, we will provide you with a quotation for our Pay On Use service.

Had to use the app recently for a breakdown. Worked very smoothly, sent my location to the team automatically, and I had regular updates and text contacts while waiting. The phone number was available if needed. Local rescue service arrived a bit later than originally stated, but had another text saying how far away they were. The app worked perfectly!

Useless app. After filling all the details you get a call back and the operator askes for all the details again, even the location. And the last time I didn't even get the call back. And the whole process to get the assistance took more than three hours. Not renewing this policy!

You won't know how naff this app is until you need to use it and then unfortunately you'll be stuck with it. Notifications that go nowhere. I was good for putting in my breakdown details but gives no into back to you about what's happening

What's Happened Start Rescue? This App used to be great. You could add your policy and have access all your documents. Now you can only report your location when you've broken down. Clearly they've pulled App investment. Shame! Which I'd known this before I just renewed like 10 minutes ago!!
