The best no-fuss running app there is! When I started I wasn't able to run more than 3 minutes. This app has the perfect interval training to get me from there to running 30 minutes. Every session was a little harder than the previous one, but one that I could still perform. The app is free, all it takes is to share the results with others, which I did anyway. I started using these guy's apps for other workouts as well (abs strength). If you want something simple to just train you, this is

I'm a beginner, and I was looking for the simplest running app, to make it as easy as possible for me to start. Found it with this app, it's no thrills, and it takes you gradually from walking to running.

Installed it, used it once, deleting it Every time that it switches between walking and running during a workout, it signals it with 4 annoying high-pitched beeps followed by an even higher, longer one. I had to set the volume low and even then, whilst being unable to hear my music I got a headache cause of those beeps.

I used to love this app, however, it has been battery hungry especially when not in use. My fully charged cell phone went from 100% to 46% in 2 hours. When I checked my battery setting, this app had over 50% battery use in the background, while I was at work. I have done the usual clear cache, uninstall/reinstall with no success. I also turned off background use permission, however, the app will not work at all without being allowed to run in the background. Onto something new, I guess.
